According to State Lottery Directorate, any prize worth RS.100000 (1 lakh) or less can be claimed directly through your district lottery officer by submitting the required documentation.

While prizes bigger than 1 lakh can only be claimed by visiting Kerala Lottery Department. You need to bring your lottery ticket along with your identity documents. Don’t forget; you’ll be required to pay 30% of the tax on your winning prize.

According to the mentioned rules by the lottery department, the winners will never be announced publicly, and the winner can hide their identity if they want to.

The rules don’t allow agents to sell the Kerala Lottery Tickets outside the State. If you want to buy a lottery ticket, you must be a resident of Kerala State as per the rules.
